Heya everyone! I’m thinking about what I should make next– maybe some more architectural stuff? What would you guys like to see next?
Also: have any of you ever tried to find a used dress-form online?? It’s impossible! It’s like no one has any or something… I’m too poor to pay for a new one, but the only ads I’m seeing on craigslist are “wanted” ones. Ebay’s failed me, too– the used ones are as expensive as new ones I could buy from a store here. Maybe I’ll just have to suck it up and buy a new one… urgh.
Aaaand, one more thing: Cori! You sent me an email about EP-compatibility but the email address you provided isn’t working– just getting mailer daemons back. :/
What next? Hum, you seem to already have an idea (architectural stuff, he?). So I say, follow your heart!
Though I must admit I would LOVE to see steampunk furnitures from you, that would be great.
Well, I kown I speak the mind of everybody when I say that anything you make will please us all beyond expression!
Sorry about your quest for an unexpensive dress-form. They’re dead dear here in France too.
Well I would like to see maybe some new clothing meshes & I hope you could find a unexpensive dress-forum *I wonder what a dress-forum is — Goes to google*
& Nice photo on MTS! xD I love it!! You look so cute!
-Best of luck, John.
I, of course, also LOVE everything you make, It’s a party everytime you update!
I, for one, would love to see what you would create for children. A nursery maybe or just furnitures for kids?
But I would be happy and pleased with whatever you make
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your wonderful stuff!
I wouldn’t mind architectural stuff! I will say that one thing I could always use some more stuff for is the garden, so perhaps an outdoor architecture and/or furniture set? Something to pretty up the house from the outside, the place I always struggle with.
I would prefer a good chunk of metal and glass to be involved, like with the Liam set, but I’m sure no matter what you do I would end up abusing it.
Architectural stuff is always good to have.
I’d personally love to see a bedroom set… or maybe a study/office/library thing. You haven’t made one of those yet. :p I’d love to have it be in a Victorian style like your oh-so-delicious Gothic parlor set, but as the first poster suggested, Steampunk is awesome, too.
Whatever it will end up being, I’m sure it will be amazingly awesome.
I would be happy to see some new eyes. I just loved your eyes and it would be great to see some new. Perhaps make-up, too? Oh, and of course clothes, clothes, clothes! But anything you’re creating looks gorgeous
So I’m always looking sooo forward to your next update
stairs, pleeease! to match your liam build set %P
if you don`t mind of course))
well, just in case you didn’t get my email, I’d love to see some equestrian items. no one has ever made anything like that before.
but..everything you make is unique, so I’m sure, whether it’s clothes, building items, objects, or genetics, it will be a must-have.
best of luck on your next update,
xtina
Oh wow. I can’t wait to see what you make next. Maybe some living room sets? perhaps of a traditional nature, or maybe even of a cottage nature? With some natural materials like pieces of wood or what not?
And i love the idea of a nursery and hair. You’re extremely talented and I’m looking forward to whateer you make
can’t wait!
-Mr. Sullivan.
As for the what to make next, I think you do a very good job on all the items. At the moment, I’m partial to furniture, lighting, architectural, and guy’s clothing (the categories of my game that are slimmer than others). As for the dressform, have you tried freecycle.org? There’s some curious stuff on there sometimes, and you can post a want, though the one I signed up for wants you to post a few freebies before posting a please. No matter what you decide to make, thanks for all the content you’ve provided so far
I’ll love anything you make, I always do. I like the idea of an architectural set. Something completely different I wouldn’t mind seeing is a set in the style of that beachy set you once did for a WNF aspiration reward set.
I just wish that you can convert all your wonderful sets for the SIMS 3
I think we can all agree that you are talented and and anything you make will be amazing. But what you could do is combine the style (my favorite sets) Amelia Living and the Xavier Bedroom into a traditional but have 1920s Goth themed. Do you know what I’m saying? But you will think of something great!
Oh ya and good luck with your dress scavenger hunt. And i meant an architectural set like doors and windows with my comment above.
I would love to see more architectural stuff from you or a nursery, that would be cool. But I’m sure that whatever you make will turn out awesome.
maybe some adele fireplaces?that would be cool
I would absolutely love to see a nursery…recolours and, perhaps, an actual set?
I’m sure whatever you make will be gorgeous. Beautiful kitchen set, by the way!
I’d like to through my hat in for more achitecural objects, like fencing, columns, stairs, roof edging etc.
Thanks for the ideas, guys! Now I have plenty for updates to come.
I’ll post some work-in-progress pictures of the stuff I’m working on soon…
It’s probably a bit late now but i would love to see some more items in the apokalyptein style set! Perhaps some more functional items but with a broken down appearance. I love my fallout neighborhood and i’m ALWAYS using the apokalytein objects! But it really niggles me having to stick in pristine bookcases, TVs and hobby objects just so my sims have something to do. I love how the set creates the makeshift look and I’d love for there to be more less-obvious objects like these! There are tons of gorgeous decorative objects out there already, I just wish they actually did something once in a while! Anyway, rant over, I loved the kitchen set, absolutely beautiful textures! Thanks for keeping sims 2 awesome for those of us who can’t run sims 3!
What about The Crow round window? (Window from the movie) I think it will be great with your other stuff.
What I often miss in my “Adale style” houses are real dining tables where a family can sit down together when having a meal.
It would be very nice to have the dining tables to go with your older sets like the persian or gothic. (Or a new dining set?)
And yes, architectural items like columns, stairs, fireplaces ect. in your typical style would be a great assets to make completely assorted living spaces for our Sims.
And finally I’ll throw an onther idea in the mix. What about some 20th century sets with lots of pop culture elements from the 50′s, 70′s or even the 80′s.
Adele, thank you very much for the stuff you allready gave us. THANK YOU!
I just wanted to ask about your Sims 3 items. It says ‘Free, high-quality downloads for The Sims 2 and 3 by Adele.’ but I can’t find anything for TS3. I just recently made the move to TS3, and now I find I can’t go back to TS2. It makes me sad to not have your items, though : ( I can’t find the TS3 items on your site, but of course it might just be user error, or are you possibly planning on creating for TS3 and haven’t uploaded everything yet? If I’m just not looking in the correct place, it would be great if someone showed me the way : ) Thank you!!!
P.S. Architectural items are probably what I’d want to see if I were doing TS2 still. As well as clutter stuffs – lots of clutter stuffs!
So you don’t think I am -complete- idiot, it’s three in the morning here and I’ve been up for forever, so I am semi-delirious, or something of the like : ) I found your post about TS3 modding. Sorry for bothering, hehe. I would have seen it first had I been at least half awake : D
LOL, Ashton. Don’t worry about it! I changed the site so there won’t be any more confusion. It’ll probably be a really long time before I can create for TS3 anyway, so it’s all good.
@ everyone else: Thanks for your lovely comments! You guys are so great.
I can’t wait to see pictures for your upcoming projects, I adore everything you’ve made so far.
More Apokalyptein or architectural stuff would be awesome, but you’ve obviously got a lot of suggestions here so I won’t be too disappointed if you do something else.
Aw, okay. I am sure the wait will be worth it! : D
Yup, I think some architectural objects would be nice!
Actually, I have an idea I’d like to offer. I think I would enjoy seeing a fireplace made by you. I stick at least one in all of my houses and it would be nice if it matched your furniture in the rooms I’ve used it in. /just a thought.
Oooo! I like what lagritsalammas said! I think a fireplace matching your latest kitchen set would be absolutely amazing! That would be gorgeous
Unfortunately I cannot help you with the dress forms, for I have searched for them myself to no avail.
However, if you’ll allow me to make a bold suggestion, I’d absolutely love to see you tackle the unfortunately forgotten aesthetics of art nouveau. The sweeping elegance of Mucha and golden opulence of Klimt are utterly inspiring, not to mention the calculated yet ephemeral architecture of the era. Either way, I have no doubt that you’ll model beautiful designs, and render all of us speechless time and time again. Thank you.
Audrey, it’s like you’re reading my mind! I was actually thinking of suggesting the same thing myself but since I already had suggested creating a fireplace, I figured it’ll be better if I just keep quiet. But yes, art nouveau is marvellous and I’ve been extremely ecstatic about it for the past few months. Adele, if you can, please do spoil us with something art nouvealicious, I’m sure there’s more people who would love to see something in the style created by you!
I really love your stuff =)
It would be nice some architectural stuff, like stairs, fireplace…
you know, it dawned on me..
there’s like NO tattoo parlor/artist clutter out there. it might be something fitting for your style and something you can work with. i’d be anxious to see what you come up with following this theme..
I’d would LOVE to see more late Victorian-era furniture (in the style of the Victorian parlour and the xavier bedroom)…I’ve searched through a lot of sites, and your furniture is still some of the best I’ve seen — really, I’d be happy with anything, I think
This is probably waaaay late… but I would like to see a nursery set from you so that my Adele!houses can have some seriously pampered babies.
