Hello, all! After what seems like forever, the third episode of Undead is finally here! Yay! You can download it via the microsite.
You may notice that the voice of Jacqueline’s character has changed. The original voice actress is no longer going to be part of the project, unfortunately. There have been some things that have come up in her life that have made it so she can’t commit enough time to acting anymore, so I’ll be replacing her. The second episode now has my voice, too, to avoid any confusion.
I want to thank the lovely people who have served as voice actors for me. This whole thing would not have happened if you guys hadn’t been devoting so much time and energy to it! Thank you!
Aaand, I think that’s everything. Let me know what you guys think! Also, I’ll answer any questions you have via the comments section– about the story, about a certain technical thing, anything.
Well, as the majority of stories including vampires AND playing in Romania tend to be full of old mouldy stereotypes, I expected yours to be a bit like this after watching the first episode. Okay, not *that* simple, but nothing special as well.
What most captured me then was the excellent technical realization. I just couldn’t get my eyes off the screen due to your wicked skills with handling the camera and special effects stuff, not to mention your obvious perfectionism and love for detail in the set design. All of that combined with your atmospheric music score plus these awesome actors = pure WIN.
Considering the story, my opinion changed with the second episode as the plot really started to get more complicated and interesting. In this sequel, I especially loved the memory scenes. They really give characters a lot of depth (and make me curious as hell ;P). The part that I personally found most interesting about this third sequel was the one featuring Adrian and Dom, especially the latter finding the photo (of him and his wife, I assume?). Seeing him, who seemed like a cruel, soulless beast in part one now remembering his past and being a bit melancholic, too was sorta astonishing! But of course the rest wasn’t dull at all. Exactly the opposite, in fact.

I don’t really watch sims machinima, but I’ve been waiting for episode 3 for a long a time. Loved it! I foud some scenes too static (picture-like), but all in all it was great. A pity it takes so long to make an episode. I’m already waiting for the next one.

OK, you’ve got me hooked. I just downloaded all three episodes and watched them. Each one drew me into the story more and more. I particularly like your sets and the detail you put into them. Excellent! I’m waiting impatiently for the next expisode…….

I haven’t really been interested in machinima until I saw “Undead” for the first time a few weeks ago. I kept checking for another episode and I was so excited for the new one! The characters are so intriguing and they really drive the storyline. I can’t wait to see more! Your eye for detail is exquisite, the setting really add to the mood. My absolute favorite was the train ride at the beginning of the first episode, but the different apartments and homes help to illustrate the characters on a whole other level. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. ^_^

OK, critism’s first, then awesomeness. I felt Evelyns voiceover had some echo on it, was that intentional? If it wasn’t, I presumed you knew about it. Onto awesomeness, you seem to have a serious grasp on animations in the game, everything flowed. Your attention to detail is very impressive, the part where Alira see’s how the guy drove the car, then she copies….goosebumbs. Seriously an awesome thrid installment and I look forward to more…….blood!!

Anyway, it was definitely worth the wait. I really enjoyed getting to know the backgrounds of some of the other characters. Also, Alira is deliciously creepy. I love how you conveyed her absorption of knowledge through blood. I’m once again blown away by your sets, attention to detail and camera work. You’re an inspiration to me!
the story line is AMAZING. And the way you handle the camera movement is so smooth. Not one signle glitch. Can’t wait for the fourth one to come out. I wish I had your talent.

I’ve been following your Undead and just because I’m having a boring day today I watched all three episodes again. They’re just amazing. I still can’t believe you make that with the clumsy game that I own as well. Your cmaera movement is so fluent and you totally stretch the limits the game sets, it never seems you’re on a one lot, it seems so expansive. Ofcourse it would all be less without a great story, and you have exactly that, a capturing storyline, vivid characters and memorable settings that just blow my mind away. and to top it all of you have musical score that sets the mood, enhances effects and leads from one scenent o the next so naturally. Your creative force seems to be so wide in range from making objects and clothing to beautiful artwork, writing and music that it seems amazing we of the Sims world get to enjoy it. As soon as my husband gets home, I’m going to show him just what a creative and an incredibly talented person can do with this game. Thank you for sharing your work.

For the ellipse, I defined not very well the thing, in fact it is simply to describe the way they pass and move. Their movements appears fluid, y’know?, which gives an ellipse effect or maybe I was wrong in saying it ^^

Oh oh oh I see what you meant! Yes, the movement is fluid like that because of the hacks I’ve downloaded from various places, and some that I’ve made myself. Mostly, it’s just a lot of time spent getting the animations to look just right.

Adele, I only recently discovered this series, and it has to be the most amazing machinima series I’ve ever seen! I knew you were a talented creator for the Sims 2, but I had no idea you did machinima as well! The story, the music, the characters; it’s all so beautifully put together. You obviously work very hard on this series, and I just wanted to let you know it’s definetly worth it. You’ve got me addicted!

I’ve only recently discovered the brilliance that is “Undead” via Mod the Sims forums. Your work is absolutely incredible and definitely the best creation of a Sims machisma that I’ve ever enountered. You definitely have a knack for writing amazing storylines, and your movements, shots and angles, as well as the scenery, are exquisite. I’m very much looking forward to a 4th episode (and a 5th, and 6th … and so on!).

That’s so fucking amazing. You are sooo talented, I can’t believe it. I’m watching the 2nd episode of this..I don’t know how to say, ehh..Movie? I know that’s not the word but whatever. I don’t understand all of the words (I don’t speak english very well) but it doesn’t matter. Male Sims are so hot (Yeah, haha), the story is really interesting. But…WHY?! WHY HAVE YOU KILLED BRYCE?! haha.
Hm…So yeah. I adore it, I really do. The sets are sooooo well made, it’s insane,haha. And the poses…WOW! I’ve downloaded some boxes with poses inside, but I can’t make it do well. (Hm…I don’t know if we can say it,haha)
